Man arrested in connection with missing Herefordshire woman

Police investigating the disappearance of a 63-year-old woman from Herefordshire earlier this year, have arrested a local man.

Alethea Taylor was last seen at her home in Orletonon on January 19th.

Despite searches by police officers and people from the local community, she has not been seen since.

"A man in his 60s was arrested at just after 7am on suspicion of murder and he is now in custody in Hereford.

"Investigative work is ongoing following this arrest and it is extremely unlikely that any further information about this development will be released today."
