Birmingham manufacturing firm wins £38m Airbus deal
by Natasha CarterBirmingham-based Bromford Industries has secured a contract to supply the global aerospace company Messier Bugatti Dowty with components for the new Airbus A350.
The ten year agreement is worth more than £38m and is a significant new business for the company, with the firm now making a substantial investment in the plant and machinery.
The work will also contribute to Bromford’s apprentice training programme, which supports and develops a number of young people each year in engineering and manufacturing disciplines.
