Celebrations are underway at Darley Park as the Olympic Flame arrived a short while ago to huge crowds cheering as the torch bearer ran to the stage to light the cauldron.
Amongst the 25,000 people in Darley Park celebrating, some have flown in to see the torch including Elias Boumaref (from France), Jack-Henry Williams (from Ripley, (Derbyshire), Levi Tabbon (from Heanor, Derbyshire), David Malmberg (from Sweden) and Gosia Burkiewicz (from Poland) pictured above.
Described as a once in a life time opportunity Levi and Jack shared their experience of the seeing the torch today.
Elias, David and Gosia were also amongst those to see the flame today and are enjoying the celebrations in Darley Park.
