West Brom have completed the signing of goalkeeper Ben Foster.
The 29 year old had been on loan from Birmingham City last season.
Steve Clarke's first signing since taking over at The Hawthorns has signed a three year deal, which could be extended by a further two years.
Steve Clarke described the signing as a "priority."
– Steve Clarke, West Bromich Albion Manager
"A quality goalkeeper is worth 10 or 12 points a season to you - and that's certainly what we think we've got in Ben Foster"
"It was important for the club to strike a permanent deal for him. It's a great signing for me and an even better one for the club."
Foster played a major role in helping Albion finish 10th in the Barclays Premier League last term.
He was named Albion's supporters' player of the Year and players' Player of the Year and kept 10 clean sheets, equalling the club record for the most shut-outs in a Premier League campaign.
