Birmingham close in on Lovenkrands

Birmingham manager Lee Clark has confirmed the club are on the verge of completing the signing of Newcastle United striker Peter Lovenkrands.

"He is going through a medical now. He did very well at Newcastle, he has a good pedigree he'll be a great addition to the squad. He will move to the area and be fully committed which is good for the club. "

Assuming the medical is passed, Lovenkrands is expected to sign a 2 year deal by the end of the day.
