Birmingham is officially amongst the worst in Europe when it comes to traffic congestion.
Navigation and traffic experts TomTom say London and Leeds/Bradford are worse but Birmingham still has 'epic traffic problems.'
Birmingham is ranked as the 19th most congested city in Europe and is considered worse than European capital cities Madrid, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
The Index is based on real travel time data captured by vehicles driving the entire road network. The traffic database contains over five trillion data measurements and is growing by five billion measurements every day.
The overall congestion level for all the cities analysed in Europe is 24% - meaning journey times take 24% longer than when traffic is flowing freely.
