Police confirm Ding murder suspect arrested in Morocco

Police in Northamptonshire have confirmed a man arrested in Morroco on suspicion of murdering a family of four in Northampton is their main suspect, Anxiang Du.

The 53-year-old was arrested in the city of Tangea on Saturday evening.

Anxiang Du has not been seen since the Ding family were killed in their home last year. Jifeng Ding, his wife Helen Chui and two daughters Alice and Xing were all found stabbed to death at their home in Wootton in May last year.

The process to extradite Du back to the UK for questioning is now underway.
