Nottingham Forest's new owners will discuss their plans for the club in a press conference today.
The Al-Hasawi family took control at the City Ground this week. Within 48 hours, Forest manager Steve Cotterill had been sacked.
Several names have since been linked with the vacancy, including Harry Redknapp, Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane.
In a statement 47-year-old Cotterill said:
– Steve Cotterill, former Nottingham Forest manager
"I am deeply disappointed that I will no longer have the opportunity to manage Nottingham Forest Football Club and lead the team into this new era...I believed the team's performances last season were good enough for me to be given a chance with the new regime and continue to build again for the new season."
Cotterill's former assistant Rob Kelly will take charge of the first team until the club find a permanent replacement.
