Spirits weren't dampened today, as hundreds gather to remember 16-year old Rosie Ross, who was stabbed to death 11 years ago.

Rosie's parents, Sean and Karen Ross, led a procession in Aldridge, where people gathered despite the sodden fields, to pay their respects to Rosie.

"Rosie is at the forefront of our minds, so today is a day of mixed emotions, yet it's lovely to have so many people around to share those mixed emotions with."

– Rosie's mother, Karen Ross.

Rosie Ross was killed in Birmingham's Centenary Square, in May 2001.
