Nottingham Forest have announced their new Club Manager as Sean O'Driscoll.

He makes a return to The City Ground having had a successful five-month spell at the club last season as First Team Coach.

The club's majority shareholder Fawaz Al Hasawi said "we interviewed many well-known and high profile figures but none of them impressed us as much as Sean O'Driscoll"

Fawaz said his passion for Nottingham Forest, knowledge of the game and the Championship shone through in conversations.

The former Republic of Ireland international forged a good reputation as a manager and coach during five years in charge of Doncaster.

Fawaz Al Hasawi added: "we are delighted to welcome Sean back to the Club. He has our total support and we are looking forward to a long and successful relationship."
