– Global Gathering spokesperson"“Everybody at GlobalGathering is deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends at this time. We are assisting Warwickshire Police with their ongoing investigation.”
Paramedics were called on Saturday after a male was discovered unconscious in a tent in a campsite at the two day festival at the Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Despite attempts to save him, the 24-year-old was declared dead at 4:40pm.
It's the first death in the history of the festival, which has taken place annually for the last 12 years.
More than 50,000 were at the two day event, with an estimated 30,000 people camping on the Friday and Saturday nights.
Police are investigating and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
The results of a post-mortem examination are expected later today.
