The police are continuing to investigate the three explosions that took place in the Staffordshire Moorlands and Stoke-on-Trent area on Friday night. Two men, aged 40 and 44, have now been released on police bail pending further inquiries. Officers believe the incidents were "targeted" and "malicious" and followed a business disagreement.

They have reassured people living in the surrounding areas that there was no threat to public safety.

No-one was injured, but all three properties sustained damage, though minimal.
