After a cloudy start to the day the sun will gradually break through the cloud.
The biggest feature of the weather today will be the temperatures with highs of 27c in the East Midlands, slightly fresher further west with highs of 24c.
It will stay dry for most of us today, just the risk of a shower on the east coast. Sunday will still feel warm but cloud will build from the west, and rain will push into the West Midlands.
The East Midlands will be brighter but there is still the chance of a few scattered showers.
So far it looks like next week will be a mixture of sunshine and showers and it won't feel quite as warm although at around 23c temperatures will still be above the seasonal average.
