High hopes of flying at Northampton Balloon Festival

The windy conditions yesterday put an end to any hopes of flying of the first day of the festival at the Billing Aquadrome.

The weather is expected to improve further on Sunday

The public are welcome to attend the festival which also features a funfair, trade stalls, craft tents, food courts and a car show

Admission rates are £5 per day for adults and £2.50 for children aged from five to 15.
