A 22-year-old man named as Timothy Brockhurst has died at the V Festival in Staffordshire.
Security guards at Weston Park were called to his tent at around 1am today.
Despite attempts by the campsite guards to revive him, he was pronounced dead after paramedics arrived.
The death of Timothy Brockhurst from Stoke Heath in Shropshire is not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination will take place early next week.

We are very saddened by the tragic death of this young man and we are working to establish the full facts and build a picture of his actions in the few hours before his death.
An area of campsite was sealed off while forensic officers investigated the scene.
