IBF super-middleweight Carl Froch is to make the first defence of his title against American Yusaf Mack on November 17th.

The Nottingham veteran who won the title in May, is to fight on home turf at Capital FM Arena.

Yusaf Mack is ranked number six by the IBF at light-heavyweight.

35-year-old Froch beat Lucian Bute in five rounds to take the title, a night he says he will never forget:

"The Bute win will go down as one of the greatest nights of my life and I plan on doing something special against Mack,

"He's got nothing to lose coming here to face me and I know he'll put it all on the line to take the title from me so I'll be fully prepared for everything he's got and I'll be hitting him with all my best."
