It felt rather Autumnal this morning after a very cold night.
Temperatures dropped unusually low for August with 3.1c recorded at Wellesbourne in Warwickshire and 3.7c at Market Bosworth in Warwickshire.
Even through this afternoon it will feel quite fresh, we will enjoy some sunny spells but the cloud will build through the afternoon to make the sunshine hazy by early evening.
Tonight a warm front will introduce thicker cloud and a patchy light rain through the night.
With all the cloud temperatures will hold up in double figures, so it will feel far milder than last night.
We kick start Saturday with cloudy skies in the East Midlands and sunny spells further west.
By the afternoon everywhere will see some good sunny spells and temperatures will rise to 22c.
The weather will break down slightly on Sunday with more in the way of cloud and occasional outbreaks of light rain.
It will still feel fairly mild though with highs of 21c/70f.
