The 27-year-old passed a medical today and will officially become a player for Birmingham City when the loan window opens on Saturday.
The former England Under-21 international has recently found playing opportunities at his in-form Barclays Premier League parent club limited.
The Congolese-born forward will wear first-team squad number 29.
– Blues boss Lee Clark“I know Leroy very well having worked with him at Norwich during a loan spell in which he scored seven goals in 16 games.
“He’s a proven goalscorer who has power and pace and there’s no doubt that he’ll add quality to my squad.”
The former Chelsea trainee started his senior career at Bristol City before continuing to prove himself as a goalscorer with Reading and Middlesbrough.
Across the course of his career so far, Lita averages a goal every three games and bagged a brace on his last appearance at St. Andrew’s during a 3-2 win for Reading in the FA Cup in 2007.
