Warwickshire are County Champions after beating Worcestershire by an innings and 202 runs. It completes a remarkable turnaround for the county side who were relegated in both forms of the game 5 years ago.

Chris Wright finished with match figures of 9-89 as Worcestershire were skittled out for 209, losing their last 7 wickets today for 105. Wright took 4-65, while Keith Barker weighed in with 3-39. Ex-Warwickshire batsman Moeen Ali was their only real resistance, scoring a gritty 72.

Varun Chopra scored 195 in the first innings to set them on their way. In doing so, the 25 year-old passed both 1,000 first-class runs and 1,000 Championship runs for the second year in a row.
