Grease was one they wanted in Bearwood near Birmingham last night as 1500 film fans gathered for a drive-in-movie.
People of all ages filled Lightwoods park in Sandwell to watch the original classic film starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John on a giant screen.
The soundtrack was played through movie goers' car stereo systems.

"When we first floated the idea of a drive-in we were looked at like we were a bit barmy.
We truly didn't know what to expect but having sold out on the night we have certainly delivered the kind of event people want, with people coming from all over the Midands to watch.
Many people entered into the spirit of the night by themed dressing and we had some amazing old VWs and big old American cars
Ziona Smith, from nearby Quinton, who attended the event with her friend Kyla Leeke said:

"It was a fantastic night out right on our doorstep. You expect this kind of thing in America but it was here in Bearwood. It was an amazing atmosphere, we were dancing next to our car by the end."
The organisers are now looking at future screenings of other films and are already discussing the possibility of a Friday the 13th 'fright night.' For more information see this link.
