Some rain on Sunday

A dry start across the Midlands. Bright or sunny spells will remain in the south but elsewhere it becomes cloudy by lunch time.

Patchy rain will spread into the north and west Midlands by early afternoon. Rain will become persistent by the evening and spread to the south and east as well.

Next week will feel cooler generally. There may be a few showers on Monday and Tuesday but plenty of dry bright weather too.
