Unsettled weekend ahead
by Emma Jesson
This weekend will be one of two halves, today is definitely the better day.
This morning we'll see lots of decent sunny spells but some cloud filtering across from the west. Not a bad start to the weekend.
A few bits of rain are possible later on out of the thicker cloud in the NW over higher ground, but generally we are just talking about thicker cloud. Winds will be much of a muchness, light and of no concern. Best temperatures around 19c in the sun, 66f, but more depressed under any cloud.
Tomorrow, a frontal system pushes through to bring more cloud from the west. It should clear during the afternoon and evening, highs of 20c 68f.
On Monday, winds will pick up again, one or two showers possible in the NW but generally a cloufy day. 19c 66f.
On Tuesday the flow will become more NW'erly so a good few showers, highs 18c 64f. Nothing too heavy further east.
So in general, not too bad on Monday but increasingly showery and windy from Tuesday.
