Keep your eyes peeled for 'harvest moon' tomorrow night

The full moon occurs on Saturday 29th September 2012. It is called the Harvest Moon as it coincides with traditional harvest time in the Northern hemisphere.

The harvest moon often gives the illusion of being larger, brighter and deeper in colour than other full moons.

Visibility will be good early on in the night, but cloud will thicken ahead of an active weather front later hindering our view.
