Hereford Paralympic Homecoming

The Pride of Herefordshire will be welcomed into the county town today as the region's Paralympic athletes officially return home.

Josie Pearson broke the world record three times in the F51/52/53 discus, smashing the previous mark of 6.13m with her first three throws of 6.38m, 6.54m and 6.58m. During the Games she told ITV Central how much she was looking forward to going home.

Swimmers Nyree and Sascha Kindred were the Paralympics' Golden Couple. Sascha Kindred picked up a silver medal in the men's 200m individual medley.

Nyree Kindred won a silver medal in the women's 100m backstroke, and she broke a Paralympic record in her heat. Shortly after claiming her medal she told ITV Central how the crowds had spurred her on to success.

James Bevis picked up a bronze medal for his shooting success during the 2012 Games.
