A largely fine day across the midlands on Saturday. High pressure will keep skies clear and winds light overnight. This will allow temperatures to fall low enough for a widespread frost. In towns it will fall to around 4 c , and in the rural east midlands it may fall to 0 c allowing pockets of air frost.
After a misty start in places Sunday should start sunny, dry but chilly. Cloud will build from the south during Sunday afternoon but it should stay dry.
