A 43-year-old man's due in court charged with the murders of two people at a block of flats in Walsall.
The man was arrested on Saturday (October 6) following the discovery of two bodies.
One was the body of a 69-year-old who has been named as Pauline Gillen, who was found inside a flat.
The second body was of a man believed to be in his 40s and has not yet been formally identified, he was found at the back of apartments on Acacia Avenue on the Yew Tree estate.
Pauline Gillen's family have described her as:
"A wonderful, beloved mother and grandmother, who will be missed dearly."
– Pauline Gillen's post-mortem examinations revealed that both of the victims died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
The 43-year-old man is expected to appear at Sandwell Magistrates court this morning.
