There has been some uncertainty about the forecast for Sunday but now the low pressure that was the blot on the landscape looks like pulling away into France leaving us with a sunny scenario. How appropriate for a Sunday.
For now, a nasty little low came through overnight bringing rain but it is now away to Eastern Scotland and leaves us in a clearer slot behind.
So for the rest of today, brightening all the while, some good spells of sunshine, mainly dry, just one or two rogue showers, well scattered, highs of 13c 55f, around average.
This evening will start dry and clear, some mist patches forming but during the second part of the evening, showers from the SW will organise themselves and push across the region, lingering through midnight and the early hours.
Sharper bursts are possible to the west and the south of the Midlands if anywhere and some may longer in the North Midlands tomorrow morning.
