Jury retires to consider its verdict in mum-of-two murder trial

The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering a mother-of-two has retired to consider it's verdict.

23-year-old Carl Powell is accused of killing Caroline Coyne in Nottingham last year.

The 28-year-old's body was found on a path off Thorneywood Mount.

A post mortem examination revealed she had suffered head injuries.

Finger marks were also found on her neck.

Powell denies murder. He also denies two further charges false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence, and sexual assault involving another woman.

The trial at Nottingham crown court continues.
