New Aerospace Technology Centre unveiled at University of Nottingham
A new £5.1 million Aerospace Technology Centre will be unveiled today at the University of Nottingham.
The new centre will house over 100 staff, who will develop new aerospace technology, working alongside a number of research groups from across the world.
The University will be working with leading businesses within the industry, including Rolls-Royce, GE and Airbus, as well as many smaller businesses.
The European Regional Development Fund have helped the University fund the new centre, which they say will "help to secure the University's position as one of the leading institutions in the world for research into aerospace technologies."
The University is currently involved in 70 industrial aerospace projects.
