Later today, Rolls-Royce will open its doors and unveil its new Apprentice Academy in Derbyshire.
The new facility has been developed to enable the company to train an increased number of young people to work for the company.
The academy will also allow for training in the company's supply chain, which will enable people to work for manufacturing companies across the East Midlands.
George Osbourne will also be at the opening of the new academy.
Yesterday, National Grid opened a £4 million training centre in Nottingham, providing hundreds more apprenticeships for the East Midlands.
Last year, 12,000 young people applied for National Grid's Apprentice Programme.
With this in mind, these two new centre's should prove to be extremely popular for young people looking for apprenticeships in the Midlands.
