British Sausage Week is being celebrated in the Midlands with almost 25,000 sausages being served up to school children across Telford and Wrekin.
The local council have been working with local butchers and have specially selected a sausage which is said to be "fit for thousands".
This week, the 'Wrekin Banger' is being launched and comprises a special blend of pork, apple and sage.
One of the butchers involved, GN Bradley & Sons, have invited school children to come a long to a crash course in making the Wrekin Banger in celebration of British Sausage Week.
