Thank goodness for all the bright lights of Diwali because the weather is looking dull over the next few days! Various weather fronts will be bothering us bringing lots of misty and murky conditions.
THIS AFTERNOONFor the rest of the afternoon the emphasis will be on cloud with occasional breaks and sunny spells. Temperatures will be higher than average with highs of 13c so feeling fairly mild for November.
TONIGHTTemperatures will hardly dip tonight, in double figures for many of us so a frost free night. The cloud is keeping it quite mild but we can expect the cloud to thicken up and produce a free spots of rain too. A few mist and fog patches will form overnight and hang around tomorrow as well.
WEDNESDAYExpect a grotty start to Wednesday with widespread mist and fog patches, it will feel very damp and dreary. Northern areas will hold on to the mist for much of the day, further south we will start to see some brighter spells developing. Highs tomorrow of 12c with light winds.
Thursday looks like a repeat performance, cloudy and damp with much the same expected on Friday although the wind will pick up lifting the mist and fog patches and it will feel fresher too. It is all change for Saturday when wet and windy weather sweeps south-eastwards.
