We woke to dense fog this morning and it will hang around for much of the day in the West Midlands, lifting to low cloud further east but where ever you are there will be a lack of sunshine. Under the low cloud it will feel cold with temperatures struggling into double figures. Everywhere will stay dry through this afternoon with light winds.
Tonight low cloud will build once again but it won't be as foggy as last night. The cloud will be thick enough in places to produce a few spots of rain and the wind will pick up a little too preventing the dense fog patches we saw last night. It won't feel quite as chilly with temperatures between 4 and 6c.
Tomorrow will be another grey start but better visibility with fog less of a problem. We will have lots of low cloud though and outbreaks of rain on and off during the day. It will feel cool under all the cloud with highs of just 9c.
We start to see a change in the weather this weekend as a cold front brings rain on Saturday but that will clear away all the murky weather to leave us with a sunny but cold Sunday. Unfortunately it will all go downhill again on Monday with more wet and windy weather.
