Today cloud is building from the west and turning the sunshine hazy but it should stay mostly dry through the afternoon, just the chance of a shower in Staffordshire. It's feeling very cold again with highs of 5 or 6c.
Tonight will be dry to begin with but in the early hours a band of showery rain will move in from the north and we may well see some sleet and snow showers mixed in with the rain. Temperatures will be below freezing and there will be icy conditions and a widespread frost.
Tomorrow as the showery rain continues creeping south there is still a chance of some wintry showers through the morning, it will be frosty and icy first thing too. Gradually behind that rain we will see drier, brighter conditions for the afternoon. It will still feel cold though with highs of 6c.
Sunday the weather goes downhill again as rain sweeps west to east. It will make headway into the West Midlands late morning and then spread to all parts through the afternoon.
