Concerns are growing for a woman from Derby who went missing while on board a ferry from Hull to Rotterdam.

Teresa Cowley from Mickleover in Derby, boarded the Pride of Rotterdam ferry at Hull with her husband on Thursday 27th December.

They had both been enjoying drinks in the bar before returning to their cabin. The door key to the cabin didn't work and Mr Cowley left Teresa sitting outside the cabin while he went to reception to resolve the problem. CCTV and witness accounts show Mrs Cowley go alone to Deck 11 Sun Lounge on the ship shortly after 1am on Friday 28th December. She did not return.

Searches of the ship failed to locate the 43-year-old woman.

Mrs Cowley is described as white, of medium build, around 5ft 4in tall, with black bobbed hair with red highlights.

Detectives from the Harbour Police at Rotterdam are currently investigating and are liaising with Derbyshire Police.

It is not thought that anyone else is involved or any criminal offence has taken place.
