A baby boy, who's been at Birmingham Children's Hospital since he was born, has been forced to stay even longer after a member of staff cut too deeply through the plaster cast he needed removing.
Baby MJ's grandmother, Beverley Millard, claims the person who sawed through the cast cut deep into the boy's skin.
After a delay, it's claimed he had to be anaesthetised to have it stitched up.
A Birmingham Children's Hospital spokesperson said:
"We have launched an investigation after a baby suffered an injury to his leg during the removal of a plaster cast. We sincerely apologise for the distress that this has caused the child and family.
"We will feedback the outcome of our investigation as soon as possible and then take whatever steps are necessary to prevent this from happening again."
