Bitterly cold outside at present with a moderate NE'erly breeze blowing.

We are in a fairly bland weather set up, high pressure to the north continuing to control the situation.

This is feeding in a brisk NE'erly wind and the high will slip slowly southwards over the next few days, so winds will ease as the week wears on.

For the remainder of today, the risk of a snowflake in the air, temps 3 or 4c at best but feeling more like 1 or 2c in the wind.

Little change tonight. Watch for icy stretches where you had a shower today. We also expect a frost in spite of the amount of cloud, lows generally around or below freezing. Breeze also starts to strengthen.
