A quiet story for the next few days

Mainly dry with variable cloud and some sunshine for the weekend Photo:
THE WEEKEND: High Pressure keeps conditions fairly settled

High Pressure holds on for the weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday will be mainly dry although a weak front into Sunday will generate cloudier skies and the risk of light rain and drizzle at times. Temperatures will be around average (8c) with winds light.

MONDAY/ TUESDAY: Milder air from the south

As we head into the first part of the new week High Pressure slips southeast, allowing milder conditions to be drawn in from France. Temperatures could get up to 11C by Tuesday.

Although Low Pressure and more unsettled conditions are likely to develop later in the week, Monday and Tuesday look drier and brighter with a fresh southeast breeze.
