An ex-soldier who pointed a replica gun at a bus full of terrified passengers has been jailed for five years.
Ian Kinney pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court to possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Mr Kinney left his house on 30th November 2012, after he had been drinking, and walked around Long Eaton in Nottinghamshire with a BB rifle, pointing it at motorists and a bus full of passengers.
Armed officers were sent to the scene and a rubber bullet was fired at the 38-year-old man, who then surrendered.
