Remaining bitterly cold and cloudy

Another cold day today with no end in sight as we march towards the Easter weekend. We continue to have a cold wind blowing across the UK and that combined with the already cold winds mean temperatures will feel like -1c to -3c.

This afternoon sees mainly cloudy weather around, feeling bitterly cold. There are a fair few very light snow flurries around which aren't expected to cause too many problems.

Tonight the snow flurries ease off but some remain. It will be another very cold night. Down to -2c but possibly lower across the snow fields.

Tomorrow sees some bright or even sunny spells for southern parts of the region. Elsewhere is rather cloudy with some snow showers once again. These should ease into the afternoon and fingers crossed there should be a chance of some brightness pretty much everywhere. Highs of 4-5c but feeling much colder in the breeze.
