Dry and cold to end the Easter weekend

Despite continued cold temperatures, the rest of the Easter weekend will become dry for all and sunny. High pressure takes control of our weather by this evening, putting a stop to the snow flurries in eastern counties.

Saturday night

Snow flurries die away leaving clear skies and a widespread frost. Rurally as low as -6 c.

Easter Sunday

A dry, bright day with sunny spells. Temperatures will only reach 5 or 6 c, which is about 5 degrees below normal for the time of year. Another frosty night into Easter Monday.


Dry, cold weather next week for all of us. A return of light snow flurries for eastern counties from Wednesday night.
