Another cool one today and remaining cloudy. It will be drier through the north of the region, the south is on the edge of a low pressure system.
The northernmost boundary of the rain to the south is uncertain, but further north it should remain dry throughout the day, with odd sunny spells.
A little more breeze than yesterday too so a cooler feel to the day.
That rain in the south pushes eastwards and slightly northwards very slowly during the afternoon, tending to peter out as it does so. 5 to 10mm rain possible.
Winds ease into the afternoon.
Tuesday night: cloudy, winds ease, breaks further west, patchy frost, lows 3c.
Wednesday: dry start, cloudy, bright spells, light winds early on. Rain pushing in from SW by midnight.
Thursday: wet start, strong winds, low over the centre of the UK. Generally unsettled with outbreaks of rain.
Friday: low pressure still in charge, more showery conditions, the potential for some brightness at times.
