A bright day ahead

After a wet night, today should start dry and bright.

Odd showers will break out through the morning, after 9 or 10am, but they'll be fairly few and far between. Sunny spells and isolated showers.

It will be a fairly slow start to the day but by the afternoon, rather decent. Showers fade, becoming dry and bright with the best sun through the West Midlands, unbroken sun for some during the afternoon.

Breezy but not as windy as yesterday. Temperatures fare well also, around 14 or 15c, 59f.

Cloud and rain pushes north-eastwards tonight, which makes for a wet and windy start on Wednesday. This will probably be the worst day of the week.

Showery on Thursday with sunny spells. A blowy day with gusty showers.

Friday, a ridge of high pressure builds in, giving a dry, bright day and remains with us Saturday, so a fine start to the weekend.

It will be all downhill again on Sunday.
