It's been a beautiful, sunny day so far but the weather is changing as we head through the next few days. Temperatures will dip and we will see some patchy rain and showers too.
Today though it's looking good, the cloud will bubble up a little through the afternoon but on the whole it is dry, sunny and feeling mild with a gentle breeze. Temperatures will reach 16/17c.
This evening will be dry and bright but the cloud will spill in from the west through the night bringing with it patchy rain, mainly for northern counties. This has the potential to become heavier and more persistent in the early hours. It will be a fairly mild night, certainly frost-free with lows of 8/9c
Tomorrow morning in complete contrast to today will be cloudy and grey especially in the West Midlands, there is a better chance of seeing some brighter spells in the east. Through the day we can expect a few spots of drizzly rain on and off.
It's worth taking your brolly if you are heading out. Temperatures will hit 17c in the east, 15c in the west.
Thursday will start off dry and bright but expect more rain later before that clears to leave us with a showery picture for Friday and Saturday. The showers are likely to be heavy and thundery by Saturday and it will feel a good 6c cooler too.
