The sun has definitely got its hat on for Bank Holiday Monday – and so should you!
If we get 21c today, it could prove the hottest day of the year so far, beating 20c in Lincolnshire on 25th April.
Don't forget the suncream, and please do not leave pets or vulnerable people in cars, caravans or conservatories – not even with the window open.
The sun will be very strong, and after a quiet night, it will be out in force this morning.
More sun than yesterday, especially the further east you are. Cloudier in the west.
Plenty more of it around than yesterday and by this afternoon, prolonged spells at times, temperatures up on yesterday's.
- Tuesday: sunny at first, a good start. Clouding over from the west later, a band of rain pushing into the West Midlands. Dry in the East Midlands. Heavier spells of more prolonged rain overnight.
- Wednesday: sun and showers, feeling fresher. Keen breeze.
- Thursday: bright start, but rain pushing in from the NW later, especially affecting the west.
