Leicester Tigers hooker Tom Youngs has been named Rugby Premiership player of the season.

The 26 year-old, brother to fellow Tigers player Ben, made his debut for England this season and also won a place on the British and Irish Lions' tour of Australia.

Youngs, who switched to hooker from centre three years ago, has started eight of the last nine Test matches for England.

Tom's story is extraordinary. To move from the centre to hooker is practically unheard of in professional rugby. To then make your England debut and a Lions tour the following season is what dreams are made of. He has proved almost anything is possible.
