Low pressure to the NW brings us a blustery and unsettled picture over the next few days.
This afternoon, a band of showery rain pushes in from the W/SW. The showers will be heavier through the West Midlands, increasing in intensity there. Still some bright spells at times, best of the sun through the East Midlands. Drier towards this evening, but very windy today, gusts 30mph. Temperatures around the mid-teens celsius.
Tonight, mostly dry, odd showers, wind easing down but a wet, blustery day beckons for Saturday, disappointing highs of 11 or 12c at best.
Bright Sunday morning, the next spell of rain moves in however later.
