A school in Derby has come up with a novel way of calming the nerves of students sitting their GCSE exams - relaxation classes.

The Kingsmead School, which caters for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, has called in drama therapist Hannah Robertson.

She teaches the students breathing and grounding techniques to help them cope exam stress.

Thousands of students across the Midlands are in the middle of their GCSEs.

Experts say many teenagers have trouble sleeping, go off their food and suffer mood swings because of the pressure of exams.
