Police are continuing to search for a suspected gunman in Coventry this morning, after a man was shot in the arm.
It happened in Faseman Avenue in the Tile Hill area of the city just after 2pm.
A man believed to be in his 20s was found with a gun-shot wound to the lower arm and, after undergoing surgery, discharged himself from hospital last night.
Around 20 residents were forced to leave the flats as a precaution.
West Midlands Police Detective Inspector Stuart Bell, said:

"The flats in Tile Hill are no longer the focus of police attention. We have identified a possible suspect and concerted efforts are on-going to bring that person into police custody."
Police say it was a targeted shooting, rather than a random attack.
