Odds to win: 25/1
Key player: Shakib Al Hasan
Captain: Josh Cobb
History: Winners 2004, 2006, 2011
The most successful team in the tournament’s recent history, Leicestershire failed miserably in their attempt to defend their title last season as they finished bottom of their group.
Expectations are lowered this season but the Foxes still have a core of big name players. The signing of arguably the best all-rounder in world limited overs cricket, Bangladesh skipper Sahib Al Hasan, is a real coup for them. Al Hasan’s left arm spin has claimed more than 100 scalps in ODI/T20 cricket with Bangladesh to go with 4,000 runs.
Add to that the likes of Josh Cobb who is hitting some form; West Indian's dependable batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan and big hitter Niall O’Brien and the Foxes could be a dark horse in this tournament.
